Finding the Path...
When I was a young girl, I liked to draw and to knit, but I also found myself fascinated by how people were so different, and it made me very curious to know people deeply. I did not know how that might translate into a career in those days, and to be honest, at that age, I did not have the confidence to ‘own’ a conversation and connect with people deeply, as I do now.
At the time, I was interested in many aspects of life: art, society, literature, everyday life, different cultures… and I chose to study foreign languages, while continuing to observe people and their peculiarities.

The Moment of Reset...
After completing my Foreign Languages Bachelors degree (Translator) and Business Administration Masters Degree, I worked for a while for Orange (mobile phone company) However, the corporate world did not fit me, and throughout this period I knew I wanted more from life. I knew I wanted to run my own business, and I knew that to feel satisfied with my day’s work, I wanted to help people. It seemed to be deeply important to me in my personal life and growth, that I worked closely with others. I also liked to make people happy and give them a sense of well-being…
So it came down to one of two businesses:
Beauty Salon or Kindergarten!

Getting in The Groove...
Now, that I have been running my beauty salon for almost 20 years, my focus is still connected to people and how to make them feel and look younger and healthier; better and happier - both inside and out - while listening to them, connecting with them and carefully understanding their needs.
And the childhood artist was not wasting her time... Because it applies just as much to the kind of drawing I enjoy doing nowadays: makeup!
Makeup is one of the things I enjoy the most about my work. It is creative and satisfying, and from helping people with their makeup I learn so much about people and human nature. It is a very intimate process and it is amazing how close I become to my clients. Working with makeup helps create a deep connection with them. How they are, how they tick, how what I do has meaning for them - not just on how they look but how they feel about themselves.

Today...
Lights, Camera... ACTION!
So I am loving every day, enjoying my work and my clients, and never stop learning and advancing!
I have also become passionate about doing makeup for the film industry. The first film whose end credits include my name for ”Makeup” is coming out shortly. This has been a wonderful experience, which I wish I could repeat in the future.
But for me, it is all about people. Helping people, making them feel healthy, seeing them happy, and making them feel good about themselves, not just on the outside, but deep inside too, and it is this passion which drives who I am and what I do.
